The Kanban View offers a visual way for users to track project tasks across different stages such as New, In Progress, Review, and Completed. Each task appears as a card, allowing you to quickly review , update and organize work in one place.
This view helps you understand project progress at a glance, manage workloads effectively, and keep tasks moving across different stages with simple drag-and-drop actions.
1. Switching to Kanban View:
- Select a project from the Project list and go to the Tasks tab.

- Click on the Board button to change the view from list view to board view.
2. Understanding Task Cards:
Each card displays key details to help you understand the task at a glance:

- Priority (e.g., Medium, High)
- Task ID
- Task Name
- Due Date
- Assignees (shown as profile icons)
- Total Logged Time
3. Adding a New Task:

- Click + Add Task button or + on any of the column.

- Enter the required task name.
- Add details such as Due Date, Assignees, and Priority if needed.

- And finally click Create to save the task.
4. Editing a Task Card:
Task cards support both quick edits and detailed edits, allowing you to update information based on need.
Quick Edits:
- Click on any of the quick edit fields to make changes.

- Click on the Check button to save changes.
Detailed Edits:
- Hover over any card and click on the Edit icon to open the full task form.
- Update task details as required and click on Update to finish changing.

5. Moving Cards Between Stages:
- Hover over the task card and drag it.

- Drop the card into another column, example:
- New → In Progress
- In Progress → Review
- Review → Completed
- The task status updates automatically based on the column you drop, and the same status applies in the list view as well.
- You can reorder cards within the same column to organize tasks based on your needs.
- You can also reposition the entire board to arrange columns in the order you prefer.

The Kanban View helps you manage tasks more efficiently by giving you a simple, visual, and interactive way to track progress. With quick edits, drag-and-drop movement, and clear task indicators, you can stay organized and keep your project workflow running smoothly.
