Remove a Project Member

In Orta, only the Project Owner and Project Manager have the authority to remove members from a project. This helps ensure that access control remains in the hands of key decision-makers..

To remove a project member:

1. Select a Project:

  • Navigate to the Projects menu in the sidebar.
  • Select a Project.

2. Access the Members List:

  • In the project menu, scroll down to the Members tab to view all the project members.
  • This section displays all current project members and their roles.

3. Remove the member:

  • Find the member to be removed.
  • Click the Role dropdown next to their name.
  • Select Remove from Project to complete the action.

Note: Only a Project Owner can remove a Project Manager from the project. Follow the same process to remove a Project Manager. For more details, please refer to the User Roles and Permissions table.
