In Orta, only the Project Owner and Project Manager have the authority to remove members from a project. This helps ensure that access control remains in the hands of key decision-makers..
To remove a project member:
1. Select a Project:
- Navigate to the Projects menu in the sidebar.
- Select a Project.

2. Access the Members List:
- In the project menu, scroll down to the Members tab to view all the project members.
- This section displays all current project members and their roles.
3. Remove the member:
- Find the member to be removed.
- Click the Role dropdown next to their name.
- Select Remove from Project to complete the action.
By managing project membership proactively, teams can maintain clarity in roles, responsibilities, and access, keeping collaboration focused and efficient.
Note: Only a Project Owner can remove a Project Manager from the project. Follow the same process to remove a Project Manager. For more details, please refer to the User Roles and Permissions table.
