1. Filtering: Narrow Down the View
Orta’s filtering and sorting features are built to help users focus on what truly matters by customizing how tasks are displayed in their workspace.
In Orta, Users can apply filters based on:
- Status – View tasks by progress stage: New, In progress, Review or Completed.
- Created By – Focus on tasks created by a specific team member.
- Priority – Filter based on task importance: High, Medium, or Low.
- Assignee – View only tasks assigned to a specific team member.
- Project – display tasks grouped under a particular project.

These filters work across both the My Tasks section and individual Project views, giving users precise control over how tasks are displayed. By narrowing the view to only what’s relevant, filtering helps eliminate noise and ensure users stay focused on the tasks that need immediate attention.
2. Sorting: Organize for Clarity
Sorting defines the order in which tasks appear, helping users bring structure to their workflow. Whether managing a project timeline, preparing for a sprint, or reviewing updates, sorting lets users decide what comes to the top of their task view.
Available Sorting Options:
Users can sort tasks by fields like Task ID, Task Name, Assignee, Due Date, and more – using A to Z / Z to A for text, and ascending / descending order for dates and numbers to fit their workflow.

Quick Sorting for Everyday Efficiency
Orta offers quick sort options, enabling users to:
- Instantly sort by Due Date, to see what’s urgent.
- Sort by Last Updated, to catch recent changes.
- Sort by Task Name, for fast alphabetical navigation.
Sorting helps users quickly scan for deadlines, high-priority work, or recently added tasks – making daily planning much easier.
3. Designed for Flexibility
Filters and sorting can be used independently or combined. For example, a user could filter for tasks assigned to them and sort them by due date to see what’s coming up first.
Orta also remembers recent filter/sort selections within a session, so users can continue working without needing to reapply their preferences every time.
